Pop 4 Diabetes has worked to raise funds for diabetes research carried out by global organisations and research facilities in the UK. Our Pop 4 Diabetes event at the Royal Bath Hotel started in 2007.
This year we will be raising money for JDRF.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation exists to find the cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications, and is the world’s leading charitable fund raisers of type 1 diabetes research.
Diabetes UK is the largest organisation in the UK working for people with diabetes, funding research, campaigning and helping people live with the condition.
Diabetes UK have over 170,000 members and are working for people with diabetes, their carers, family and friends. They represent the interests of people with diabetes by lobbying the government for better standards of care and the best quality of life. Diabetes UK spends up to £6.5 million on research every year to improve the treatment of diabetes and we hope our research will ultimately lead to finding a cure for diabetes.
Funding diabetes research in the UK & around the world in order to understand the causes, prevention, treatment and management – our ultimate goal is to find a cure.
